The IU’s Master of Information Technology Management (MITM) degree is a program designed primarily for working professionals who seek a hands-on, laboratory-based program to broaden and deepen their knowledge of new and emerging information technologies, the application and integration of these technologies, and the administrative practices used in the effective management of these technologies. Delivered in English and designed on credit basis, the program’s curriculum reflects the latest trend in postgraduate IT education. The program combines lectures, case studies, team projects and research studies while training materials are selected among the latest textbooks used at leading IT schools in the world. Structure of the program:

Designed on credit basis, the MITM program of International University takes one and a half year approximately. The program provides students with advanced knowledge on information technology and information system, and management skills of these disciplines. There are two methods of study: Course-work and Research.

Beside fulfillment of academic requirements, students have to obtain English language certificate (with results equivalent to TOEFL 550) to be eligible for graduation.

In the first semester, all students of the MITM degree study the same program. At the end of the first semester, students can apply to the research program. The school will approve the application based on the academic result of the first semester, the draft research proposal and the reference of lecturers.

Each student following the research program has to have a research paper published in international conference, national or international journals to fulfill the graduating conditions. During the research thesis, students are checked twice:

1st Check: at the end of semester 2. Students have to submit their Research Proposal and represent the progress in front of a committee (set up by the School). If the committee approves the proposal, students can continue the research thesis the third semester. Otherwise, students have to follow the course-work program.
