CSE Laboratory System

Our laboratory facilities consist of five specialized teaching laboratories, one student lab and one research lab.

The teaching laboratories are dedicated to the instruction of essential computer science disciplines, including Software Engineering, Operating Systems, Database Systems, Networking, and Data Science. The labs are presently utilized to support undergraduate courses in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Data Science programs, as well as being available for shared use by other schools and departments.

Operating System Lab (LA1.608)

Fully equipped with 33 computer workstations, projector, TV. Workstations are provisioned with free and open-source software, including Net Bean, Visual Studio code, Dev C/C++, pyCharm, MS SQL Server, Wireshark, Virtual Box, etc., to facilitate the instruction of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

Data Science Lab (LA1.607):

Fully equipped with 31 computer workstations, projector, TV. Workstations are provisioned with free and open-source software, including Net Bean, Visual Studio code, Dev C/C++, pyCharm, MS SQL Server, Wireshark, Virtual Box, etc., to facilitate the instruction of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

Computer Network Lab (LA1.606):

Fully equipped with 31 computer workstations, projector, TV. Workstations are provisioned with free and open-source software, including Net Bean, Visual Studio code, Dev C/C++, pyCharm, MS SQL Server, Wireshark, Virtual Box, etc., to facilitate the instruction of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Cisco equipment is also available to teach courses related to networks. 

Database Systems Lab (LA1.605):

Fully equipped with 31 computer workstations, projector, TV. Workstations are provisioned with free and open-source software, including Net Bean, Visual Studio code, Dev C/C++, pyCharm, MS SQL Server, Wireshark, Virtual Box, etc., to facilitate the instruction of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

Software Engineering Lab (LA1.604):

Fully equipped with 31 computer workstations, projector, TV. Workstations are provisioned with free and open-source software, including Net Bean, Visual Studio code, Dev C/C++, pyCharm, MS SQL Server, Wireshark, Virtual Box, etc., to facilitate the instruction of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

Computer Vision and Image Processing (CVIP) Lab (O1.611)

The student laboratory is presently utilized by a student research collective as well as graduate students for the purpose of engaging in a broad range of activities such as student projects, research endeavors, and other group study initiatives

 

The Central Interdisciplinary Laboratory in Electronics and Information and Technology “AI and Cooperation Robot” (Campus C)

A member of the “Laboratory for Studying and Applying Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining and Information Security for Smart Cities” – Vietnam National University HCMC. Funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology. This laboratory, equipped with a powerful GPU server, a 3D printer, a 3D scanner, workstations, and other essential equipment, functions as a central hub for multidisciplinary research activities within the School of Computer Science and Engineering. It effectively brings together diverse research groups, including the Computer Vision and Image Processing, the Software Engineering and Empirical Data Science, and the Data Science Research Group.
